OBCA Members,

Thank you to all the OBCA members that attended the Oklahoma City Thunder Clinic August 19. We had a good turnout, along with an increase in our membership. The OKC Thunder clinic puts on a first class clinic, and the lunch was unbelievable! In case you were not able to attend, the following coaches attended:

• Mike Boynton- Head Men’s Oklahoma State University

• Adam Cohen- Assistant Men’s Stanford University

• Amanda Butler- Former Head Women’s University of Florida

• Kenya Hunter- Assistant University of Nebraska

• Tom Crean- Former Head Men’s Indiana University

• Billy Donovan- Oklahoma City Thunder

➢ Region Reps please make sure you are getting information out regarding  the OBCA Free Throw Contest December 2. This a great opportunity for your athletes to shoot in front of a OKC Thunder crowd at halftime of a Thunder game. (They do not have to be varsity players, send a JV kid or even a freshman.)

➢ Region Reps lets continue to encourage our junior high school coaches to join the OBCA.

Best wishes to everyone this season and I hope that you are having a great school year as well! Coaching is one of the best occupations in the world to not only make our players better, but also to impact their lives to become better young men. Let us continue to make sure that as coaches we do not leave the gym with any regrets.
