I would like to start off by thanking everyone for giving me the opportunity to serve as the President of our great organization. It is a tremendous honor and I look forward to the next year. I hope this note finds everyone doing well on this push to the playoffs! What a hectic time of year! We practice all fall in anticipation of games that seem to take forever to get here. Now in January, it seems we desperately need to practice and all we do is play games! Even if your team has struggled like mine, there is always the anticipation that we can put it together to make that run to the state tournament. The coaches victory award forms and all nomination forms are available on the website along with assistant coach of the year and junior high coach of the year forms. Last but not least, don’t forget to nominate people in your community for the “friend of basketball” in each district. I know there are a lot of people out there who help our programs and it would mean a lot to many of them to be recognized for their support.
